NEW YORK — Following the passing of Leonard A. Lauder, brother of World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder, WJC Executive Vice President Maram Stern issued the following statement:

He was a lifelong advocate for education, cultural preservation, and medical innovation, and his contributions enriched countless institutions around the world. His leadership of The Estée Lauder Companies not only built a global enterprise but set a standard for corporate responsibility and civic engagement.
