A comedian who claims Israel murdered the kidnapped Bibas brothers has had the venue hire for his upcoming performance at a theatre in Liverpool cancelled, following a report by Jewish News.
On Wednesday morning, The Unity Theatre confirmed that Sundeep Bhardwaj, scheduled due to appear on 10 July, would no longer be appearing at the historic venue after a catalogue of social media posts about ‘rich’ Jews and content accusing Israel of genocide and ethnic cleansing,
Bhardwaj appears to personally associate with a UK proscribed terrorist organisation by declaring his pronouns to be ‘he/Hamas’ and compares Israel to the Covid virus, saying: “all the problems in the world right now are coming from that one little experimental lab that has been set up in the Middle East”, calling it an “illegitimate bullshit experiment that needs to be shut down” before adding “they need to wrap it up and find a vaccine for it.”

In an Instagram post about the cancellation, he said: “The wonderful people at the Unity theatre in Liverpool have just written to me saying that they are cancelling the venue hire. Where am I going to find another venue in such a big city? I already found another one, bitches. Unity theatre, you can suck my tickets.”
Bhardwaj’s Liverpool performance was part of his ‘Ceasefire’ for Palestine comedy tour to Glasgow, London’s iconic Comedy Store and parts of Europe including Sweden and Norway. He is also scheduled to perform in Dubai on August 29th.

When originally contacted for comment, Sundeep Bhardwaj responded by publishing a video naming and revealing contact details of a Jewish News reporter to his 154,000 Instagram followers, leading to a series of abusive posts and emails including calls for “all your people” to “perish. They should have in Auschwitz.”
Bhardwaj’s action has been classified as a hate crime by police and is being investigated.
